In the seventh generation, Lucas Franz Pichler carries on with the family tradition as a winemaker. He is grateful to his father, Franz Xaver, for passing down his colossal knowledge and decades of experience and dedication to exceptional wine quality. The FX Pichler Winery wants to create wines that are a true reflection of the year, the soil and the specific microclimate of the Wachau. Every wine should be unique and distinctive. The grape varieties produced, are mostly Grüner Veltliner and Riesling and some small share of Sauvignon Blanc and Gelber Muskateller.
